Techniques of Kung Fu Toa
EIGHT PRINCIPALS OF DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE
The performance of KUNG FU TO'A techniques is an art to combine
mind, body and spirit. Here we explain why techniques will provide
healthier mind and body. Every technique requires that the person
applies fundamental principals of to'a physical training.
There are eight principals that we should follow when we do our
techniques. Following these steps eventually will enable students
to perform in more coherent unified way, which we call unification
between mind and body.
-
The concept of technique.
-
The role of technique in defense and attack.
-
The starting point, direction, ending point, and angle of body
for each technique.
-
The harmony between arms and legs.
-
The reactions of technique.
-
Applying circular motion during performance of techniques.
-
Power and, energy release from body sources of energy.
-
Breathing, concentration, and mental focus.
The maximum power can be achieved when most of the air have exited
from our lungs.
This is the reason why we say “HAIS” during our training.
Breathing is the source of energy. We are surrounded with a universal
form of energy, everytime we breath we enter this unique energy
into our body, once we concentrate and focus on this energy then
this energy starts to activate and influence our mind and body in
a positive way. Therefore we must focus our attention on this energy
when we breathe.
The biggest source of energy in human body is 7.5cm below belly
bottom, approximately close to the forth-spinal cord. Tremendous
amount of energy is stored at that point; we constantly unleash
and release energy from that source.
Remember human body is essentially energy, matter and energy are
interchangeable.
